Nutmeg jelly possesses a similar flavour to nutmeg jam
but entirely a different texture as the pulp (pericarp) of the nutmeg fruits are removed leaving the nutmeg extract which is boiled to make the delicious nutmeg jelly. It is extremely popular in the Caribbean as a snack. Enjoy on bread, toast or crackers, or as a glaze for ham and turkey.
